What is Síclovía?
Síclovía is a FREE event that will turn San Antonio's streets into a safe and fun place for walking, bicycling, jogging and enjoying outdoor activities. The street that the city has selected for this event is Broadway (between Brackenridge and McCullough).
2011 Mahncke Park Home Tour
The 10th Annual Mahncke Park Home Tour will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm. This will be a very special year for our home tour as we celebrate a decade of success!

Family Parade on the 4th
Blossoms & Blooms Arts Festival in Mahncke Park!
Come join in Saturday May 14th for some art, crafts, food, music and fun. Free and open to the public. The festivities will be held from 11am to 7pm on the 200th block of Queen Anne.
Texas Historical Marker honoring Ludwig Mahncke
You are invited to the unveiling of a Texas Historical Marker honoring Ludwig Mahncke Saturday, April 30, 2011 2:00 p.m. at the Bust of Mahncke located in Mahncke Park near the fountain at Broadway between Funston and Parland. Refreshments are available by the Mahncke Park Neighborhood Association.

Bike Bright @ The Pearl (Fit Fest!) 2/5/2011
The Office of Environmental Policy will be hosting a Bike Bright event during the Fit Fest at the Pearl Brewery on Saturday, February 5. See attached flyer.
National Night Out
National Night Out will be held Tuesday, October 5th. Anyone interested in being a point person for a block party should email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it before September 24, 2010. Block parties can be as casual or as elaborate as you'd like to make them. A complete list of streets hosting block parties will be posted on September 25.
National Night Out block parties are an easy and fun way to get to know your neighbors. NNO is a "community building campaign designed to heighten crime prevention awareness while strengthening neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships." We hope you'll consider gathering with neighbors on your street that night.
Wildflower Meeting to be held
If you have an interest in the fate of the wildflowers in Mahncke Park, please attend a special meeting with the city on Tuesday, June 1st at 7:30am in Mahncke Park to voice your opinion. We look forward to seeing you there!
